From a forum discussion about Paul Rudd being cast in the upcoming Ant-Man movie.
You know how I know you're gay? You're Ant-Man.

"Going to Africa. Hope I don't get Aids. Just kidding. I'm white!"

I cannot stop laughing at this tweet. I hope nothing bad happens to Justine. Somebody might take it the wrong way...

Pertaining to his friend's lame posts on facebook, I present Diaballicker in all his sarcastic glory:

"If you ever do that to me again, I'll throw you off this fucking balcony.
You're not man enough. I'll break you in half. Like a boy."

Oh, man. That's priceless. Like a boy? What the hell does that even mean? Is he a Catholic Priest as well as a Congressman? Michael Grimm has my vote. The Fourth Estate needs to be knocked down a peg or three. More politicians need to threaten reporters with forcible buttsecks on the air. Forget all this sequester and gridlock nonsense in DC. Let's break people as if they were underage boys.

6 foot tall Jawas would make a fantastic EU story. You see, tall to Jawas is what dwarfism is to humans. The other Jawas are frequently ridiculed and not allow to participate in various Jawa games. They live together in a hut at the edge of the main Jawa settlement. One day, Sandpeople attack. Hick Namlin and Lohn Jindquist come out of their hovel screaming "UTINNI!" Sandpeople, who are easily startled, shit their robes and leave. Namlin and Jindquist become instant heroes and part of epic tales among Jawas all over Tatooine.

I stumbled across the gem from one of our very own today on another site. It's four years old, but still made me laugh pretty hard.
Rollo Tomassi wrote:What I wouldn’t give for someone like Dan Slott to write and draw a little ‘Before the scene’ vignette of Thanos buying the helicoptor.

Coptor guy: “Sooo…first helicoptor?”

Thanos: “yeah. I just got my pilot’s license.”

Coptor guy: “Oh yeah, I remember my first one, too. Well, just sign here and she’s all yours.”

Thanos: “Oh hey, can you stencil my name on back of the coptor? Nothing fancy. No block lettering or anything…just..I just don’t want to get it confused with all the other helicoptors…”

Coptor guy: “Sure thing, mac.”

Thanos: “Excellent. Cower in fear, Earthlings!”

Art Spiegelman was interviewed by the CBC and spoke about keeping comics dangerous. He also had this very good quote about the refusal of certain papers to reprint the controversial Charlie Hebdo cartoons of Mohamed:

"If [The New York Times wants] to be -- and if Canadian newspapers want to be -- newspapers of record, you don't send people to the internet. Because then why the heck should they come back to you?"

Good point. Print media is circling the drain, and by trying to please everyone they'll cut their own throats. Marvel should take heed.

Over at CBR, discussion about Marvel's '8 Months Later' teaser and how 8 months was chosen so if any characters get pregnant they can have the baby in story. Which led to this exchange.
