All electric everything here. No gas anywhere. I figure I'm going to pay it off about $100 at a time, I'm not putting myself in the poor house just to pay that shit on time. I don't think they'll unhook us if they get a partial payment on time.

Hey, if there's any possible way any of you guys could help out a down-on-his luck Canadian (we ain't got no Target up here) get one of these figures, I'd be forever grateful. I'm also willing to "pre-pay" via paypal if you think you can hook me up, that way you won't be out any money (yes, I realize it's a $25 spending premium, I'll paypal anyone out there $50 US to cover it all off. We can arrange shipping later).

No pressure, but I sure would be pleased if anyone could help me out.

jjreason, I didn't notice this thread until today. I will do my absolute best to get an extra one for you. Here's the dealio, though: I've got a collecting buddy in the OC (I hate that term, though it saves space, which I have completely negated the effect of by adding this long-ass parenthetical aside). Long story short, I owe him some money for the EE Clones we're splitting, told him a week ago I'd try to get one for him, yadda yadda. He's trying to get one for himself, because he doesn't want to risk missing out on it, but I won't know until sometime tomorrow if he can score one. My wife is going, so I'm sure to get two (I'm going to a small, secluded store that I doubt will get much traffic). If my friend can get one, consider the extra yours. And if you can hold off, I can take it to the ComicCon and cut out the $25 shipping.

I'll let you know as soon as humanly possible if I can get you one.

Who be buying these carazy new Star Wars toys foo?

Some of dem vehicles is nasty sweet. Of course they sucker you in. You buy an ARC-170 fighter, then you gotta buy THREE fucker clone pilots and then hunt down a sneak preview Astro droid to man it. Then when you buy Anakin's and Obi-Wan's starfighters, you gotta buy Anakin and Obi-Wan to pilot it.. THEN you gotta buy a few Droid fighters and a bunch of them $10 Vulture Droids, cause wheres the threat if they can just fly in and land on the Invisible Hand? And since you got them fighters, now you gotta buy some SuperBattle droids and regular droids cause you can't find the box in the basement thats got all your AOTC figures, cause what, they get in the cargo hold and just hang out? Hell, no. Artoo has to deep fry some droids. But then you gotta go buy Artoo. Eventually you just break down and buy one of every figure to save time ( except that stupid Yoda on a giant butterfly, cause when the fuck did that happen in the movie?) And then you gotta get multiple Clone Troopers and Wookies and Royal Guards and Polis Massans and Neimodian Warriors and so on and so forth. Then you gotta buy a big fuckin' box and dump them all in it so you can stack them next to all the other Action figure boxes you got stored down in the basement.

Yeah, he's sitting around with the Target Clone and the Wal-Mart Early Bird set and a bunch of other non-Canada stuff that's waiting for him when he gets to San Diego later this month.

Thanks man. I'm picking one up for Smolio, trying to do my part to help the gang. Chux saved my collection this year, without a doubt (and big props to Dindae from the other place for getting me the CIII Vader AT COST!!!!!!!).

Yeah, I got a C3 vader from SK99 at cost. The early birds are still here at full retail. One WM lowered them to 20 bucks and they werent selling, so they made em full price again. Whats that shit about???
