Sorry. Seems like forever since I've used a 3.5" floppy. Maybe 10-11 years ago? And those 5.25" floppies must have died in the late 80s. I'm just kind of surprised Hasbro didn't give him a more modern laptop instead of that old clunker.

I remember reading a news story about the production of the last 3.5" floppy. That was about six months ago, IIRC.

No, no worries. But yeah, I did use them back through elementary and middle school, though that was likely because the computers there were somewhat outdated anyway.

i received three LEGO sets in the mail today. a guy on another LEGO forum heard me complaining how i had missed out on the set robo attack and picked it up for me. barnes and noble had a 40% off any single 'toys and games' item, which included the LEGO prince of persia line (which i'm interested in for 40% off or better) but the discount would cause me to have to pay for shipping (they have the same order $25 and get free shipping deal as amazon) so i added another small PoP set to get the free shipping. got fight for the dagger and desert attack - my main reason for being interested in the PoP sets at all is as an augmentation to the indiana jones sets. i never got a sallah, and by god i'm going to make some of these figures into him.

She's getting a combo Disney Princess/Batman party. We're making a cake that'll have figurines of Tiana, Ariel, Sleeping "Too Goddamn Boring For Anyone To Remember Her Name" Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, and Belle, with Batman riding in the carriage.

Bought 4 of the SW figures last weekend and got the other 4 yesterday. The only other thing out now that I wanted to get is Jabba.

Got the A-Team van for $6.75 and a Prince of Persia figure for $2. The Prince of Persia guy will be a background goon for Jabba.

got the Mark V (suitcase) armor 6" iron man figure at WM yesterday, while looking for LEGO deals. i was psyched to see it, but it's the weakest of the three, with less articulation or range of movement.

I got a MOTUC MossMan with the fresh pine scent of justice!

A DC Public Enemies Major Force figure I won off ebay arrived today. Now I just need to find cheap Black Lightning and Superman and Batman, or perhaps just the Brimstone CnC arms they came with.

i received my second prize from that LEGO contest i entered last week, and have bought 32 Collectible Minifigures from series 2.

I got a case of DCDirect figures today. It had

Batman Reborn Wave 1 with Batgirl, Azrael, Jason Todd, and Two-Face

And

Blackest Night Wave 5 with BLs Batman, Hawkman, Deadman and their boss, Nekron.

SuperHero Squad 2packs of IronMan/Dr. Strange and Capt. Marvel/Thanos.

Got a box from UPS with a giant yellow and green gorilla, Chief Carnivus, Egon Spengler, and Trapjaw.
